Advancement of N97 Firmware v20
While we possess the Nokia N97 with version v12, and there is nothing less than an advance version V20.0.005 firmware for Nokia N97, though we hope it is officially available for download.
Apparently include new applications and widgets that can not be known for certain reasons until it is available for download, because this is still not the final version. It would add the logo “Connecting People” to turn on the phone below the current logo for little hands. Another update is that Ovi Contacts is available directly after the upgrade without having to download it as an extra application, which works the same, but adds notifications in the home for ease of use, plus they have solved the bug records calls that had been happening on multiple devices.
It updates the browser simply by stability issues, and applications of the camera have not been touched, unfortunately this version does not add face detection and red eye removal and panoramic effect (again, except the face detection, the other Both can be achieved through extra applications, but were a good thing that came automatically incorporated).
Still lacks the application to stream Internet radio and the Facebook application was a small improvement that is not yet final, so you can not portray. Skype has not been added (but no extra applications to supplant it). There is a slight modification in the Music Player, but neither is definitive.
It includes the “kinetic scrolling” we already knew by the iPhone and already available in some places like when the Ovi ingresábamos Store or the browser, but now it works everywhere. Still no improvement in battery life, which normally does not exceed 48hrs (in heavy use), but there are improvements in stability and performance improvements in GPS, and a small improvement in Quickoffice already in the phone and now includes synchronization with Outlook (keeping subfolders and categories, although not yet tested version worked perfectly).
