generic ebook reader 300x193 Cheap Asus and MSI eBooks on the road

It seems that now that digital book readers are already on the market with a few models, the manufacturers have in their sights. And it’s not unreasonable to give the reason the rumor that is emerging in recent days.

The rumor indicates that Asus may be thinking of a cheap digital book reader, belonging to the Eee range and perhaps somewhat distant features of current models, like the Kindle or Sony’s latest. When the Eee family would ensure us, yes, low price, since this is the common denominator between all the products in that family.

This information is given by DigiTimes web, in the words of one of the top brass of the company indicates that the eBook from Asus come in 2009, in November or December. “Capitalizing on the Christmas season? If you are around 100 or 150 euros, a gift would certainly be very, very interesting.

Along with Asus, the same source indicates that another manufacturer, MSI, I’d be interested in launching its digital book reader Wind under its brand, with characteristics similar to Asus and also with a reduced price.

Review: MSI GT725

laptops 35 1 300x244 Review: MSI GT725

MSI proves that you can purchase a very solid gaming machine without taking out a second mortgage with the GT725, a $1,699 rig that features a powerful quad-core CPU, robust graphics, and Blu-ray playback. We’re not fans of the keyboard, and the design could use a bit of a refresh, but overall, you get a lot for your money.
A Gamer’s Design; a Keyboard for Few

Lacking flames or glowing alien eyes, the GT725 may not be as ostentatious as other gaming rigs, but it has plenty of touches to remind you this is no ordinary notebook. The system has fire red accents, and the blue neon lights illuminate the responsive, touch-sensitive media controls, status indicators, and power button. However, this design is practically identical to every other MSI gaming notebook we’ve tested recently (such as the GT627, the GX630, and the GX720), and like the Gateway FX Series, is starting to look a bit dated. The brushed-aluminum lid and base gives the 15.5 x 10.9 x 1.0-inch, 7.6-pound system quite a solid feel, but the palm rest and keyboard demonstrated a fair amount of flex.

msi xslim x400 300x225 MSI X Slim X.400, ultrathin and with screen of 14 inches

In order to complement to the X600 and the X340 MSI it has shown a new model within his X-Slim range, in which we found very thin and slight models, although are not placed within the family of ultraportable the cheap ones that as much has proliferated.

It is the MSI X-Slim X.400, whose size of screen remains to way way between the one of both models, with 14 inches, but that it conserves the external design of his brothers. So far they have not announced as they will be its official specifications, but seeing as they are those of the rest of models we can do an idea to us.

The model of 13 inches comes with a processor Intel ULVSU3500, a hard disk of 320 GB and up to 4 GB of ram. It is to hope that the MSI X-slim X.400 conserves or improves these specifications, although will be necessary to be kind to when the official presentation takes place to know it. DONOTCHANGE
