Does anyone know how reliable Asus and Acer netbooks are?
Hello Everyone,
I am shopping around for a netbook and I am simply amazed at the prices that Asus and Acer netbooks are offering. But, I just never heard of these companies until recently. I am also currently interested in the Samsung NC10. Have any one of you ever had one of these netbooks on a long-term basis? If so, how reliable were these netbooks? Thanks a lot!

Acer and Asus have been around for a long time. Asus is more known for their motherboards than their laptops, but the Asus netbook is one of the best you can get, in my opinion. Acer is a budget brand, so I tend to not recommend them because they cut corners in odd places.

I have not used any of these laptops.
I am not to fond of any of these manufacturers, if I had to pick one it would Asus which is actually pretty good.
Your best bet is to go with a Toshiba, Dell, Sony & yes Samsung is good.
