The Phenom engraved in 45 nm announced at CES, January 8
According to the latest rumours, the new AMD Phenom, with an engraving in 45 nm, could be announced at the opening of CES, January 8 next year.
A date which is not necessarily their actual availability, which should be known that within the next few weeks, depending on the production capacity of the smelter.
As a reminder, they should have a L3 cache from 2 MB to 6 MB, and efficiency slightly revised upwards.
Although the TDP be announced fairly close to the Phenom to 65 nm (one speaks of 125 watts for models from 2.8 to 3 GHz), consumption could be revised downwards, this factor has been one of the negative points Phenom against the current. The performance / watts should be more attractive.
