The International Olympic Committee (IOC) aims thus increasing the audience of the Olympics respecting those countries that have signed the allowances are paid millions of dollars. India, South Korea, Mongolia, Rwanda and Iraq are among the nations in which they can see the contents recorded on YouTube. The lack of coverage in these exclusive images in 77 countries is what has caused the IOC members raised the issue event across the network.

The portal Google will have a channel that will offer full coverage of the Games for the “younger generation who like to sport” and may go freely to cyberspace to see the competitions and sports meet their needs, said Timo Lummen, director IOC marketing and television, which said that for the first time in the history of the Olympics will have a comprehensive coverage online.

YouTube will be able to sell advertising during the broadcast, although only may be related to the official sponsors of the Games.
