Sony Ericsson W508, the new Walkman phone
Sony Ericsson W508 (left) is the model 29esimo “Walkman” launched in the market from Sony Ericsson, and looks very much known to the W980i released last year.
Compared to Sony Ericsson W980i, W508 is generally less with the internal memory it is smaller (100 MB) even if it is expanded (in the sales package includes a Memory Stick Micro 1 GB) and lacks the FM radio transmitter (whose use is also not allowed in Italy – but it is available in an optional, MMR-70).
The new W508 is a mobile phone design accurate and elegant to 3.5 G HSDPA technology. E ‘equipped with a QVGA screen at 2.2 inches, a camera to 3.2 megapixel resolution, slots for memory card (only type M2 – not microSD – a format not compatible with all other mobile phones do not Sony-Ericsson) expandable up to 16 GB.
Being a Walkman, Sony Ericsson W508 is equipped with Shake Control – which allows you to change song by shaking the phone – TrackID – which allows you to retrieve information on the song via the Internet connection – SensMe – which allows you to set playlist based the degree of humor – Megabass and FM radio.
W508 is customizable through various cover “Style-Up” purchased separately (a cover is included in the sales).
