The manufacturer of GPS, Navigon, releases a new version of its browser for Windows Mobile and Symbian smartphones. Calculating travel faster, according to the company, MobileNavigator 7 includes features such as Lane Assistant and Speed wizard to display speed limits and offers optional weather reports.

A function Text-to-Speech may indicate the path to users at each branch, the Reality View displays signs as in reality each exit from Navigon. Users can also access traffic information services, and a database of security cameras. The Symbian version also allows them to use the Pedestrian routes for walking.

MobileNavigator 7 costs 99 euros with information on European maps, or 69 euros for information on France.

The Symbian version of MobileNavigator 7 runs on the user interface third edition of Nokia S60 and Windows Mobile can be used on phones with Windows Mobile 5, 6 or 6.1. MobileNavigator 7 is now available on the online store Navigon.
