MSI will propose a well Wind U90 by 8.9”with SUSE Linux

So far Acer had come in real rival of ASUS and its famous Eee PC, this role seems ultimately belong to Taiwanese MSI. Indeed, not only its Wind U100 is a significant success – until sales figures precise – but important partners have also relied on the Asian mark to take care of their netbook preferred. The Medion Akoya Mini E1210, Advent 4211 and future LG X110 know something.
MSI does not stop there, however, and will soon propose, as planned, the Wind U90, declination 8.9 “(1024 x 600) of its ultraportable. The Wind U90 is highly similar to the U100, since will be armed with an Intel Atom N270 (1.6 GHz), Intel chipset 945GSE + ICH7M, 512 MB or 1 GB DDR2 667-MHz, hard disk of 80 GB, a card reader 4-to-1 (SD, MMC, MS and MS Pro), Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g, Bluetooth (optional), Ethernet, two webcams (1.3 Mpixel and 0.3 Mpixel ) And three USB 2.0 ports.
It integrates the keyboard of the Wind U100, measuring 260 x 180 mm x 19-31,5, for about 1 kg and a battery three cells. It will obviously be possible to integrate a six battery cells.
According to the English site Hexus.net, MSI will take the opportunity to increase the capacity of Wind U100 to 120 GB, always sold nearly 400 €.
