Microsoft submits its implementation tests CSS 2.1 W3C

Microsoft offers developers and all those that might interest a page dedicated to the tests that are used internally by the editor to verify that their implementation of CSS 2.1 in Internet Explorer 8 is in accordance with what we expected. The firm also specifies that all these tests are submitted to the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) for inclusion in the famous CSS Working Group Test Suite.
Microsoft said that these tests were mainly intended to work on a credo that web developers have been waiting for almost always: a single code running on all browsers. And if the vast majority of a modern code is often interpreted in different ways by Firefox, Opera and Safari, this is not always the case with Internet Explorer, particularly the version 6 that many developers have become allergic. If the version 7 things improved, it still lags behind the competition.
Finally, the editor said that some of these tests were also proposed working group WAI – ARIA, which studies ways to make the site more accessible to those who have a physical disability, for example.
Anyone wishing to take a look can make on this page. The company wants a return on these tests, but suggestions should be sent to the W3C.
