HP set the trio of Mini NETBOOK for the consumer

Three for three models tell everyone, and Asus first, that in NETBOOK who wants to lead must come to terms with Hp. The Californian company has broken the delay and swept away some doubts (primarily the choice of Via processors for its Mini Note 2133) today presented the new Mini in 1000, the Compaq Mini 700 and Mini 1000 Vivienne Tam Special Edition, diversification in style “Fashion” to the women. For all three the common denominator is to be consumer products, while the first series was a mini pc for professional users. And the differences in terms of look and feel “between the two families are obvious.
In addition to the usual and inevitable prerogatives – is the umpteenth version of the same refrain heard many times – in fact design, compact size and functionality specific to surf the Net, the three new targate Hp are characterized by the presence of processor Atom N270 Intel, of screens from 10 inches (10.1 and 10.2 formats chosen form) and solid-state disks from 8 or 16 GByte (replaced by a classic hard drive on the Mini 1000 a limited edition). The operating system is Windows XP. What add on HP puts us a couple of software, Mobile Internet Experience and MediaStyle, which promise to make even more exclusive and pervasive, even in terms of interface, the experience of surfing the Web and digital entertainment (on and off line) users.
If 1000 is the Mini – the intention of Hp at least – the NETBOOK for those who want the most from an ultraportable and Compaq Mini 700 the first choice for students and professionals seeking a second computer, the 1000 Mini Vivienne Tam Special Edition (the first computer Hp created by a designer) is one of those products in which the appearance to prevail. This NETBOOK fashion inspired collection is the spring of Vivienne Tam and incorporating the theme “China Chic” with a red finish and a pattern of peonies flower.
In Italy we’ll see soon (in December) the Compaq Mini 700, which will be a list starting from 399 euros to the public; for the other two models in February and we expect all the evidence suggests that cost significantly more. The 1000 Mini in the U.S. is already on sale in fact with prices starting from 399 dollars (for configuration with 8.9-inch screen and Windows XP) while the line Vivienne Tam will be launched before Christmas with entry costs of 699 dollars.
It is not clear if finally the 1000 model Mini Mie, based on Linux and soon on sale in the United States from 379 U.S. dollars, sbarcherà or less in Europe.
