491da0515fd3c hp Cameras in review: Canon EOS 450D, a reflex for allWe’ve tried Optical machine interchangeable consumer Canon, one of the top seller of absolute mercatodi David Cerrato – Skyline

Description

With the introduction of the Eos 1000D (the Canon SLR to lower) the Eos 450D is no longer the machine user base but a digireflex a bit more advanced but still characterized by extreme maneuverability, ease of use and excellent value for money. Not for nothing was rewarded with TIPA Awards 2008 as best reflex, not in the Entry Level category but that soon after the Advanced DSLR.

The test

If the resolution is increased by 2 Mpixel – from 10.1 to 12.2 – from the weight of the 450D camera body is less than 35 grams, from 510 to 475 grams as well as the passage from DIGIC II to DIGIC III now allows higher performance. All these improvements – which are not the only, for example, we now have more control of the puck and can display all relevant information, including ISO sensitivity – not to overturn the structure established by winning Canon: simple machines and made immediately. Comfortable in this sense are also predefined scene modes, with in particular the sport mode that has proved more efficient than we could have expected.

Interesting also the 6 Picture Style settings (Standard, Portrait, Landscape, Neutral, Faithful, Monocromoatico) to control sharpness, contrast, color tone and saturation ensuring results on different images, with effects that once in analog were determined by different types of films. The result is especially interesting when applied to the Raw format, which can be further worked with the software Canon Digital Photo Professional.

The performances are excellent, especially those of Live View 3 “and especially a 9-point range which has proved excellent in a wide range of shooting situations, and how significant is repeated shots with 3.5 fps at maximum resolution. The most obvious flaws affect mainly the lack of an optical stabilizer on the sensor and a camera body which, while solid, does not transfer that feeling of strength that is felt rather challenging other models of competition.

In summary

A digireflex really well made, with autofocus and excellent performance at the top of the class, used with profit not only from the neophyte optical interchangeable.
