539w BlackBerry Storm: the touch of RIM

For a few hours we had the opportunity to get their hands on the Storm, the first BlackBerry user interface with touch.
For the features you riamandiamo to our data sheet, while in these lines, we provide the first sensations.

Turn your smartphone right sock as a Curve, to give an order of size, and holding with one hand easily. The screen, touch-sensitive and easily manageable with your thumb, has a slight tilting motion that, especially when typing messages, gives the impression to sink slightly and then returns the physical sensation of pressing a button really.

When the Storm is in an upright position the keyboard has two buttons, as already happens on the models 8110 and 8220 Pearl. In landscape mode instead is a full Qwerty. We prefer the latter for ease of typing and the solid grip.

The accelerometer always responds quickly and punctual rotating the screen based on the location.

The icons are very similar to those present in the smartphone with OS 4.6, as Pearl in 8220 and Bold Flip, but only to be larger click with greater ease. To browse the images just slide your finger on the screen and you click to enlarge the photo.

The software is a beta tested. Then expect the final version, expected between fifteen days, the story of the Internet browser and everything else.
