Review: Antec Notebook Cooler 200
Despite the winter temperatures and relatively low, today we talk about the Notebook Cooler 200 Antec, support for portable cooling fan with “Big Boy” from 200 mm already seen in the case Skeleton.
As per tradition, the Antec Notebook Cooler 200 (NB200 now) is excellent both in terms of design and from the assembly and materials. Designed for portable gaming dedicated to “extreme”, the NB200 notebook can house up to 17 inches and lets you adjust the fan speed on two positions (400/600 rpm) depending on the need for cooling.
Other features include a USB cable for power, the bearings .
Designed for desktop use but also suitable as a support to take on the legs, the NB200 not feel too much weight (1.6 kg) and at the same time can easily support the 17-inch heavier. Speaking of noise we can only commend the fan “Big Boy”, best at 400 rpm and also good at 600 rpm, and is quieter than that of most laptops (which will open less often thanks to the active cooling of the media).
In general NB200 so this was a good product that will keep promises. Despite this, however, some shortcomings remain, and among them must report the absence of a wind-blocking wire where the USB cable when not in use, a height from the desk that would make typing uncomfortable for those not accustomed el ‘ USB power itself that is blocking a port essential, especially on older notebooks that have USB few exits.
The price is about € 80: perhaps high given the multitude of “chinoiserie” different but partly justified by the excellent performance of cooling and silensiosità , well-designed and quality materials.
