Epson SX405 printer review
Epson have been offering good quality all in one printer at competitive prices. The newest offering is the Stylus SX405 which combines printing scanning and photo coping facilities into one compact machine. It has a built in card reader and 6.5 cm LCD screen which enables stand alone photo printing straight from the memory card and no need to a PC. The SX405 can print of various media types from glossy photo paper to inkjet transparencies. The scanning facility offers high resolution scanning to suit most users needs and the photocopier function offers a quick and easy way to copy documents. The ink system in the SX405 uses four individual ink cartridges. This means you only need to replace the colours that empty and therefore saves money. A set of inks for the SX405 can be found for under £30 and compatible Epson SX405 ink cartridges are widely available. Overall the SX405 in a very good mid range all-in-one printer and performs to a high standard reliably.
