lg versa g01 300x193 Review: LG Versa

This is a unique touch-screen phone, but may be more problems than it’s worth it. Versa LG, Verizon Wireless ($ 199 with two-year contract and rebate) includes a set of cases that the keyboard can be attached to heavy-duty message or leave when you want to travel light. The device also has an attractive 3D interface can be filled with shortcuts to your contacts, websites and other applications, and an accelerometer that responds to changing the orientation of the screen and you allows you to play motion controlled games.

However, with the elimination and the keyboard is a bit of pain, and using the Versa as a phone connected to the keyboard is difficult. Also, I do not understand why LG does not have a size of 3.5 mm headphones. Versa is an interesting concept, but only a few are worth of the versatility of its high price.

Design

If you like the idea of having a detachable keyboard, to be prepared for some compromise. By itself, the Versa is very light and easily portable, measuring 4.2 x 2.1 x 0.5 inches and weighs 3.8 ounces. The phone is much narrower but a bit heavier than the 3.7-oz LG Dare. Although a little tired, still, black-chrome look on the touch screen of LG phones, and the Versa fits easily into a pocket without a keyboard. (more…)

winmo 7 300x194 Microsoft Windows Mobile 7 Expected in 2010

It seems that Microsoft is ready to deliver a new page when it comes to its most maligned operating system mobile. Windows Mobile 6.5 was announced at Mobile World Congress promises to be a major step forward in ease of use in the 6.1, however, it seems that we will only be used for this examination before Windows Mobile 7, which according to Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer will be next year!

In its update on the strategic meeting Ballmer reiterated Tuesday his desire to focus on Windows Mobile rather depressing after some market reports and acknowledged that even if the OS has been “slightly profitable.” He refused once again to be building their own hardware – so no Zune phone – but you want to promote and encourage manufacturers to develop for Windows Mobile.

Motorola confirms this statement a few weeks ago we WinME 7 in 2010, could also mean Motorola is working closely with Microsoft to be among the first at the gates with a new generation of phone? If so, the emergence of Windows Mobile could be combined with Motorola.

divshare 2009 300x221 File sharing service DivShare isnt dead yet

nce at aa time, was my favorite DivShare file sharing services. The company that offers unlimited storage and unlimited downloads, and tools that allow you to integrate full of audio, video and image files on a Web page. But last year, the company yielded to the inevitable and realized that the free and unlimited storage, a business model is difficult to maintain, and established a limit of 5 GB of storage and 50 GB of free bandwidth accounts.

Now that the cap even lower bandwidth to 10 GB. Account holders can pay up to 50 GB of storage and 500 GB of bandwidth per month. And, according to TechCrunch, the company is to achieve a profit. The company was put up for sale last year, and after a fairly long period in the auction, DivShare was recently acquired by a company called 3SIXTY. Thus, it appears that DivShare does not go anywhere anytime soon.

There are a lot of there other services that provide 5 or more GB of free storage. But if you just need a quick and easy to use application that allows you to use host files, DivShare is worth visiting.
