tukito Tuquito, another Linux based LiveCD

Tuquito is a LiveCD based on GNU / Linux that allows you to boot the operating system and applications from the CD itself (without altering the operating system that could be installed).

As with other software that is distributed to us on certain occasions (eg Ubuntu), this utility does not affect at all the information we have on our computer and can work with him and their applications included.

It is quite useful in rescue work of the utmost urgency, without having to install anything new on our computer. We can work with files in the computer, exploring both hard disks and floppy disks, USB devices and others. It is also compatible with many printers, both old and new.

If someone does not have an operating system on your computer or it does not work well, this is an alternative solution before bringing your computer to a technician, because it can support even the information stored on your hard drive (provided it works well) at a time that could work with the proposed system to get out of trouble.

The application is distributed on a CD downloadable from the official website and is in ISO format, which you must burn a physical CD with the software that you like best.

lg pantalla lcd 14 pulgadas LG launches LCD oriented external use

The great disadvantage of small laptops, mobile phones and other mobile devices with a screen that is under the sunlight is not hardly anything so it was quite limited the use of these devices although little by little we have been superimposing. However, what presents us with LG is something quite appealing: a 14.1-inch LCD screen oriented laptops designed for use internally and externally through it gives us optimum visibility under all conditions.

In other words, even if we are under the influence of the sun, we will continue watching the screen perfectly. As if that were not enough, when it is under the sunlight energy consumption of the display is reduced by up to 75% with a consequent increase in battery life of our laptop computer.

We may switch with just one click from the internal use of the screen, that is, within our room, office or external use at night, as well as any other place lights with a larger screen and higher energy consumption or an external use in full sunlight where it does not need much energy to be able to see the screen. At the moment there is no news that some computer portátilv governess to count on this screen, but not soon to know something of it thanks to the breakthrough involved … just have to see that during the presentation of it, used it with an LG Laptop.

UEX2008a1 UEX Linux distribution tailored for university

One of the virtues of Linux is to have the opportunity to access the source code and modify it to suit our needs, as well as the ability to create our own versions of Linux (which is also increasingly easy). And making use of these rights, University of Extremadura has developed a Linux distribution tailored for college.

On behalf UEX Linux (no doubt the sea of original) and based on Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex, distribution integrates the vast majority of applications that require a university. They and we are aware that not every application that uses a university are in Linux, thus saving two facilities that could make the inclusion of Wine and VirtualBox series. It also includes OpenJDK as a Java virtual machine.

Among the applications that are included NetBeans, Eclipse, KDevelop, KLogic, Scilab, PHP, MySQL, Blender or Inkscape. In addition to OpenOffice, Firefox, K3B, Totem or Wine Vinegar.

No doubt a great way to put our computers to the university course, saving much time and money (especially money).
