IBM has concluded an agreement with the U.S. space agency to produce a computer of 67 teraflops, or 67 000 billion operations per second, which serve mainly to climate modeling. The bug, the iDataPlex, combine quad core Xeon 1024 chips with existing NASA, those of Discover. (more…)
